Context: These setups should always be evaluated through the lens of your overall portfolio risk parameters.
The big winners YTD are BLOK blockchain technology and SOXX semiconductors stocks. These groups have both pulled back significantly off their highs in August.
On the 1-month timeframe, XLE energy stocks are the only group with positive performance!
On the 1-week timeframe, GDX gold miners are leading, and XRT retail stocks were the worst performer. This looks like a recession trade that could be hitting the tape. Will be watching for continuation of this theme this week.
