The big winners YTD are BLOK blockchain technology and SOXX semiconductors stocks. These groups have both pulled back significantly off their highs in August.
On the 1-month timeframe, XLE energy stocks are leading by far, which is not a great sign for the overall market.
On the 1-week timeframe, the dispersion trade failed! This is the first time in a while that we’ve seen every single group close in negative territory, and it speaks to how weak the market is.
