The dollar, bonds, and the broad-based equity indices are all sitting on the knife’s edge. This could be an excellent sequence. Allow me to explain.

CPI

CPI came out largely in-line with estimates, and the SPY S&P 500 is trading at about the same exact level it was at when the June CPI report was released.

Equity Dashboard

45.7% advancers today as TLT was taken to the woodshed.

Treasuries

TLT Long-term treasuries gave back almost all of their bounce! Bonds are sitting on the knife’s edge, meaning we are trading close to the recent lows, as well as the Oct ‘22 lows!

This occurred on the back of a sloppy treasury auction

The DXY dollar index…is also sitting on the knife’s edge!
